Kaanchi releasing April 25: Why Indrani Chakraborty is Mishti?

After very long confusion the cat seems to have come out of hat. Yes the much talked about film Kaanchi’s release date has been told to the world.

To be true we had given up hope of the film’s early release that has a new face in the form of Indrani Chakraporty. The sexy siren is hogging limelight even before the film’s release and many people are of the view that unlike the past when no one took new faces seriously, now things have changed.

And there is no denying the fact that many newcomers beat experienced and well entrenched actresses in their very first films too.

And the first name that comes to the mind is none other than Alia Bhat, merely a couple of films old the diva has become the industry darling after giving two back to back hits. Now she is among one of the most sought after faces in the industry.

Now the confusion about the latest Subhash Ghai film is gone. It is set to be release two days from now on April 25. The movie is made by Subhash Ghai and he is launching the Bengali model Indrani Chakraborty in Bollywood in his upcoming film ‘Kaanchi’. In this movie she got a new name Mishti. And it is this that is at the centre of attraction with many talking about why Ghai has once again renamed the female leads of his film with M.

There is no denying the fact that Subhash Ghai is very excited about the film. When asked as to why he zeroed in on a name like Mishti for the film Ghai says, “M factor is the mother. A woman is a mother. For me M doesn’t connote money or movie. During the screen test she told me her nickname is ‘Misti’ and it clicked. It is one Bengali word which can instantly connect with the Indian audiences and it gelled with my motto of alluding the M word with mother.”

Indrani Chakraborty in the meantime also seems to be over the moon. She is excited about the prospects of the film and says, “I would not be known by any other name any more. I will be known as Misti only,” Indrani said. If you are one of the fans of Ghai then make sure to watch the movie and see what it is all about.
